Southland SIlica is ideally located for shipping both nationally and internationally. There are two major ports that service the area where we are located. Port Otago Port Chalmers, and South Port. Our goods are transported by truck to either Dunedin or to South Port where they are shipped directly to your destination. Shipping inernationally is very competitive when viewed in comparison to many of our South East Asian neighbours despite the distance to New Zealand being considerably larger.
We aim to work closely with our shipping broker and the southern ports of Port Otago-Port Chalmers and South Port Bluff to move your freight faster and more efficiently to its final destination. We aim to keep things simple and easy. Weekly services are available from many shipping companies such as Hapag-Lloyd and Hamburg Sud to Europe and MSC to Australia.
